What method can I use to assess my company's performance?

There are many different methods that can be used to assess your company's performance or lack of performance. A common method that has been used for years is utilizing a SWOT Analysis. By developing a system of strategic questions, you will be able to enhance and develop your Strengths; manage and reduce your Weaknesses; uncover and seize your Opportunities; and recognize and avoid your Threats. In many cases, a SWOT Analysis is used to begin the process of creating or revising a company's strategic plan.

Additional methods can be used in conjunction with the SWOT Analysis; however, using the SWOT first should start you down the road to efficiency and effectiveness.
